2009 AQHA World Championship Show Outstanding for RDJ foals!

Gotta Another Gear wins Most Valuable Speed Horse for best placings in both Barrel Racing and Pole Bending Finals in Oklahoma City in November.  Lane Smith of Ward, Arkansas rode Gotta Another Gear in Senior Barrel Racing for 5th Place and Doug Smith rode the Bay gelding placing 4th Place in the Senior Pole Bending Finals.  Doug Smith won the $5,000 prize money presented to him at the award ceremony by AQHA President, Don Treadway.  Congratulations Lane and Doug!

Rene Dan Ralphie  won Reserve World Champion in Senior Pole Bending!  Rene Dan Ralphie qualified 4th in the preliminary round with a time of 20.317.  He bettered his placing in the Finals with a time of 20.107( Combined average time:40.424) earning the Sorrel gelding a Reserve World Championship for rider Josh Morton of Jackson,TN. 

Congratulations to all Rene Dan Jet foals who placed Top Ten in Barrels and Pole Bending! Rene Dan Jet had 7 Top Ten foal finishes, 5 Top Ten grand foal finishes in both Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. More than any other sire of Speed Event horses at the AQHA World Championship Show!
